Meet Tucker Patsey:
Recipient of The 30th Elijah Straw Helping Hand Award
Tucker Patsey: Recipient of the 30th Elijah Straw Helping Hand Award
The Elijah Straw Memorial Fund and the entire Straw Family were honored to present O'Hara Elementary School fourth grader Tucker Patsey with the thirtieth Elijah Straw Helping Hand Award for his exceptional friendship, kindness towards others, overall good citizenship, and most of all, for embodying the core values ("Respect, Responsibility, Integrity") of O'Hara Elementary School. Tucker received a certificate of merit and a Barnes & Noble gift card! The Fund will also be donating to the charity of Sofia's choice an amount equal to the B&N gift card in Sofia's name.
Mrs. Squeglia, Tucker's nominator, has this to say about him:
Tucker has raised over $1200 for the district’s Backpack for Hunger program by selling his artwork. He is a leader in the classroom and helps younger kids get off the bus and into their classrooms.
Congratulations to you, Tucker! We look forward to seeing what you pick up at Barnes & Noble!
